Well, guess I am not doing too well at keeping up the blog...but I am not giving it up yet! We returned from vacation last week. We spent 5 days in Branson and had a load of fun up there. The only show we saw was the Acrobats of China. It was a fabulous show! Simon still looks at the brochure and talks about it. He even tries to balance things like the acrobats! We are preparing to get Rosendo back to work. He begins again next week, then of course school will start. I should be preparing for school, but knowing me, my best work comes right at the deadline...
My sister and cousins are joining me to go to the Breaking Dawn premier at Books-A-Million on Friday. We are so excited for the new book to come out...we even had t-shirts made for the event. I have always wanted to go to the Harry Potter premiers, but never was able to attend. Wonder if there will be other adults there???
I have enjoyed card making and reading mostly this summer...seems those are my escapes from reality! Check out my summer reading list...next one on it will be Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer!

Cards made with love by Sharel...
One of my hobbies is making cards. I enjoy card creating because it a chance to make a card just to send to someone special...
I am also involved with Cards For Soldiers. This is a group on the Cricut Website that makes cards for soldiers overseas. Soldiers don't always have the greatest selection of cards, so we make blank ones for them to choose from and send home to loved ones. It is nice to be a part of something worthwhile.

First ever post to my blog!
Okay, I am giving this blog thing a try with just a little start. We have worked in the yard today and Simon followed his daddy while he mowed. He used to follow me, but I let Rosendo do the yard work today. Kind of a relief after doing it for a year by myself.
Simon seems to have a knack for catching butterflies, and today he caught one and put it into a bucket and told me to watch it to make sure it doesn't fly out! So sweet and inocent the mind of a three year old is! This picture is from a couple of weeks ago at my parent's pool. Simon was amazed that the butterfly kept coming back to his hand!
